It has been 7 months since this issue was first raised with Council and yet their response is disappointing with no firm commitment about locations of a potential bridge nor to consult with our community.
We want Council to be upfront with our local area and the over 1000 people who signed the petition. We want information about potential landing points for a bridge, firm timeframes and assurances that proper consultation will be undertaken.
Kara will continue to raise this issue with Council as the response indicates locations for a fifth Green Bridge are continuing to be explored across the City.
