An Albanese Labor Government will help develop a new three-quarter oval at Coorparoo Roos Australian Football League (AFL) Club on the Southside.

Federal Labor is committing $200,000 towards developing a new oval at the grounds of the Coorparoo Roos football club.

The Roos are a much-loved local AFL club and they need space to accommodate their growing numbers.

Under a Labor Government, the new oval will benefit the Roos as well as the adjacent school community and other local and community groups.

Federal Labor wants to see people in our community use green space to remain active and come together to play sport.

Comments attributable to Terri Butler, Member for Griffith:

“The Roos are a massive part of our community.

I am so pleased to be able to provide this $200,000 funding commitment for a new oval that will benefit the Roos, as well as the entire Coorparoo community.”
