These include:
- the End of The Line Festival;
- the Gabba Village Association - which she established;
- Easts Rugby Union Club; and
- Coorparoo Junior AFL Club
She is also the immediate past president of the Woolloongabba Business Association, a position she had held since 2012.
Suzanne played an important role in receiving funding for the Coorparoo Juniors AFL club, including funding to help establish the women’s AFL team. Suzanne also supports vulnerable children and those who are at risk of homelessness, through Micah Projects, Communify Qld and the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital Foundation. Suzanne is also a committee member of the Canon Garland Memorial Society and she delivered the Pin Wheel Poppy Project - and I know there are other Members of the Canon Garland Memorial Society here today.
Thank you, Suzanne, for your tireless advocacy in so many different areas – you are a community leader in the true sense of the word.
